We care about our patients, and we want you to be able to find what you need.
We know that visiting a hospital can be stressful whether you’re a patient or loved one, so we’re dedicated to providing you with a positive healthcare experience and a safe, caring environment the moment you walk through our doors.
In order to protect the health and well-being of our patients, as well as our team members, we have a standard list of visiting policies and guidelines to help you prepare for your hospital visit and ensure you have the best experience possible.
We’re not just treating patients – we’re caring for families, as well. Every patient has a story, and their families play an important role. Including loved ones in the healing process is part of our philosophy of patient-centered care and is an important part of your treatment plan.
At each of our hospital locations, we have extended visiting hours so your family can spend more time with you.
We also promote a tobacco-free environment for the health of our patients, employees and visitors.
Hospital chaplains are available to listen and be a comforting and supportive presence.
Our pet therapy program brings specially trained dogs in to lift the spirits of patients and create a healing environment.
Translational and interpretive services are provided when needed. Our gift shops allow visitors to find that special gift to show they’re thinking of you.
And our experienced team members will go beyond expectations to ensure that you’re well cared for and on the right path to getting, and living, well.
Another part of our patient-centered care is our hospitalists. These are dedicated physicians who work exclusively with patients in our hospitals. Our hospitalists are board-certified internists – having completed the same training as primary care physicians – who strictly focus on specialized and coordinated care for hospital patients.
Sometimes patients need to be transferred to another hospital to receive a higher level of care or specialty services. If the doctors decide a patient transfer is in the patient’s best interest, we will work with you to facilitate as smooth a transfer as possible.
