At Bristol Regional Medical Center's PGY1 pharmacy residency program we work collaboratively with the patient, family and all members of the healthcare team to promote safe, effective and fiscally responsible pharmacotherapy.

The Bristol Regional pharmacy is a progressive pharmacy department with a family atmosphere. The department employs approximately 20 pharmacists and 30 technicians.

Bristol Regional serves as an introductory and advanced practice site for East Tennessee State University’s Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy and Appalachian College of Pharmacy.

Ann Hylton is a clinical pharmacy specialist at Bristol Regional. Dr Hylton obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University in 2007. She completed her PGY1 at Primsa Health (formerly Palmetto Health Richland) in Columbia, SC, and her PGY2 at the same institution in critical care.
Bristol is part of the growing Tri-Cities region of Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. This picturesque area offers an abundance of exciting cultural and recreational outdoor activities while maintaining its mountain heritage and small-town charm.
