Dr. Daniel Lewis

2020 Servant’s Heart Award Winner

When team members describe Dr. Daniel Lewis, they use words like “respect” and “selfless service,” “compassion” and “dedication.” He is a trusted family medicine provider whose patients are fiercely loyal to him. It isn’t uncommon for him to go above and beyond, from calling to check on a patient after hours to being at the bedside of a dying hospice patient. Dr. Lewis has championed numerous clinical programs to help patient outcomes, is an officer for the Tennessee Academy of Family Physicians and volunteers his expertise in various community settings – such as providing free services to various local sports teams.

Never one to seek recognition for any of the things that he does, Dr. Lewis quietly steps up and meets the needs of others, whatever they may be.
