Ballad Health expands services by opening inaugural practices in Morristown
As Ballad Health continues investing in the expansion of high-quality healthcare throughout the Appalachian Highlands, two new practices are set to open in Morristown, Tennessee.
Now open and serving local patients, Morristown Family Medicine and Morristown Spine and Rehabilitation are Ballad Health’s inaugural locations in Morristown, bringing more necessary healthcare services to people in the region.
“We have listened to the patients and communities of the Appalachian Highlands, and we are excited to bring top-notch care to Morristown for the first time,” said Mark Patterson, MD, president of Ballad Health Medical Associates. “We’re developing our services to make best use of our resources while meeting patients where they need us.”
Morristown Family Medicine and Morristown Spine and Rehabilitation operate within Ballad Health Medical Associates, and both practices are housed in the same building at 1907 W. Morris Blvd., Suite B in Morristown.
Morristown Family Medicine
Morristown Family Medicine offers primary care treatment and services to adults and seniors, with a focus on listening to individual patient needs to help maintain long-term health.

At the clinic, patients can find resources, care and treatment for a variety of conditions, including:
- Acute conditions or illnesses that happened recently and require immediate care, such as a sprain, minor wound or burn, ear infection or the flu
- Chronic conditions or illnesses that need ongoing care, such as asthma, diabetes or heart disease
Patients will also have access to resources to maintain a healthy lifestyle, such as:
- Annual physicals and exams
- Immunizations
- Insight and advice for additional treatment programs that might be beneficial
- Preventive care
The Morristown-based clinic will also provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients seeking specialized women’s care. Patients can rely on the clinic for annual wellness exams, breast or gynecological screenings.
