Healthcare career hiring event to be held at Holston Valley Medical Center
An upcoming hiring event seeks to fill multiple part-time and full-time clinical and non-clinical jobs at Holston Valley Medical Center and Indian Path Community Hospital. From noon - 4 p.m. on Monday, April 8, Ballad Health leaders will be on hand in the facility’s Heritage Conference Room, 130 W. Ravine Road, to match hopeful job seekers to open roles within the organization. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with hiring managers, learn more about available roles and potentially receive a job offer on the spot. Applicants are encouraged to bring their resumes and come ready to interview.
“We want to create opportunities to connect with passionate individuals who share our dedication to healing and compassion,” said Rebecca Beck, chief executive officer of Holston Valley and Indian Path.
“Hosting this hiring event is not just about filling positions; it's about holistically building a team that will continually raise the quality of care we provide. Our teams are already providing top-notch care across the Appalachian Highlands, and we’re looking for passionate, talented individuals to continue elevating that level of care.”
Key roles being sought include registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, transporters, call center specialists and more.
Ballad Health offers competitive pay for its team members, with recently announced wage increases for certain clinical roles, including RNs, LPNs and unlicensed techs, along with sign-on bonuses for certain clinical roles. The organization also has opportunities for professional growth and development, and the Ballad Health benefits package includes medical, dental and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; short-term and long-term disability; a health savings account; a retirement plan; employee assistance plan; a 30% discount for childcare at Ballad Health Centers for Early Learning; and a flexible spending account.
“Whether this will be your first job in healthcare or you’re looking to continue your career, we are excited to welcome applicants who are committed to providing compassionate, empathetic care to our patients,” said Adnan Brka, chief nursing officer of Holston Valley and Indian Path. “Our mission at Ballad Health is to honor those we serve by delivering the best possible care, and this hiring event is an opportunity to find talented, caring and creative individuals who will join us in that mission.”
Interested candidates should come prepared with a resume and any relevant certifications or licenses. Those who are unable to attend the event but are interested in applying for available positions can browse and apply for open positions at balladhealth.org/careers.
