Healthcare career hiring event to be held at Bristol Regional Medical Center
An upcoming hiring event hosted by Ballad Health seeks to fill several full-time clinical and non-clinical positions across the Appalachian Highlands.
From noon to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, Ballad Health leaders will be on hand at Bristol Regional Medical Center, 1 Medical Park Blvd., to match hopeful job seekers to open roles within the health system.
Key roles being sought include registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, engineering techs and facilities management, lab techs, environmental services and housekeeping.
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with hiring managers, learn more about available roles and potentially receive a job offer on the spot. Applicants are encouraged to bring their resumes and come ready to interview.
“Through events like this, we want to create opportunities to connect with passionate individuals who share our dedication to healing and compassion,” said Chris Miller, who serves as vice president and chief operating officer at Bristol Regional.
“We view these hiring events as more than just filling vacancies; we want to cultivate a cohesive team that will continually raise the quality of care we provide. Our teams are already providing top-notch care across the Appalachian Highlands, and we’re looking for passionate, talented individuals to continue elevating that level of care.”
Ballad Health offers competitive pay for its team members, with recently announced wage increases for certain clinical roles, including RNs, LPNs and unlicensed techs, along with sign-on bonuses for certain clinical roles. The organization also has opportunities for professional growth and development, and the Ballad Health benefits package includes medical, dental and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; short-term and long-term disability; a health savings account; a retirement plan; employee assistance plan; a 30% discount for childcare at Ballad Health Centers for Early Learning; and a flexible spending account."
Additionally, Ballad Health team members enjoy voluntary benefits such as critical illness, accident, disability and pet insurance plans in addition to group discounts at many local, regional and national retailers.
“The foundation of quality healthcare rests upon a quality team, and we’re fortunate to be surrounded by a region full of compassionate, talented people who are well-equipped to serve our community with the quality healthcare they deserve,” Miller said. “Whether its direct patient care, admissions or enhancing patient experiences, each member of our team plays an important role in the healthcare we deliver.”
Positions are also available at Ballad Health hospitals and care sites across the health system’s footprint, with jobs open in Kingsport, Johnson City and sites across Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
Interested candidates should come prepared with a resume and any relevant certifications or licenses. Those who are unable to attend the event but are interested in applying for available positions can browse and apply for open positions at balladhealth.org/careers.
