Cardiology
Johnston Memorial Hospital is part of the Ballad Health network including some of America’s best heart hospitals. With the only 24-hour Interventional Cardiology program in Southwest Virginia, we are a full service referral center for advanced heart disease, Johnston Memorial Hospital’s interventional cardiology program offers highly trained cardiologists and staff and a lab fully equipped to diagnose and treat patients for urgent heart problems 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
Vascular Surgery
Vascular surgery provides treatment for vascular and venous conditions, such as aneurysms and carotid artery blockages, and peripheral vascular and venous diseases.

The dedicated, compassionate team at Johnston Memorial Hospital’s Diabetes and Endocrinology Center understands that it’s important for anyone with diabetes to have continuing support available. That’s why the center offers a wide range of ongoing services that can help patients stay informed and in control of their diabetes, including medical management of diabetes and other endocrine problems, provided by a board-certified endocrinologist and two nurse practitioners who specialize in diabetes.

Wound Care

Johnston Memorial Hospital’s provides a comprehensive wound care program and is one of a few facilities in the region that offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy — the delivery of oxygen at levels higher than atmospheric pressure in a chamber setting that stimulates the healing process.
