Available services and treatments
Surgical oncology
- Surgery is one of the most common forms of cancer treatment and can be used in a variety of circumstances.
- It's often used to diagnose the stage of your cancer, as well as to assist with other treatment options. It can be used for preventative procedures and reconstruction after other treatments.
- Surgery is most effective against localized cancers that are detected early. However, even when an entire tumor cannot be removed, surgery may help relieve symptoms or discomfort.
Our team provides surgical oncology procedures, including:
- Tumor removal from the breast, lungs, kidneys and other areas
- Lumpectomies and mastectomies
- Prostate removal
- Seed implantation
Chemotherapy
- Chemotherapy – often referred to as chemo – works throughout the entire body. Chemo treatments are extremely specific depending on the type of cancer, where it is, the size of the cancer and how it's affecting your overall health.
- Cancer can be treated with a single chemotherapy drug, but often several drugs are used in a certain order or in specific combinations.
- Chemotherapy is sometimes the only treatment you might need. However, chemo is often used with surgery, radiation therapy or both.
- Chemo can also be used to shrink a tumor before or after radiation therapy or surgery to help kill remaining cancer cells.

Infusion services
- Intravenous (IV) infusion therapy allows you access to important medical treatment without interrupting your daily life.
- IV therapy lets your physician deliver medicine or nutrition directly into a vein. Infusion therapy can also be a good way to treat health conditions for those that have trouble swallowing pills.
